  • Position: Administrative and Fundraising Assistant
  • Contract Type: Part-time (12 hours per week)
  • Hourly Rate: £15.50 to increase to £16.50 after successful completion of probation
  • Location: Trowbridge

Purpose of the Role:

As an Administrative and Fundraising Assistant at HELP Counselling Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our counselling charity. Your primary focus will be to provide efficient administrative assistance and contribute to fundraising initiatives that sustain and enhance our vital counselling services. Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support:

  • Manage day-to-day office tasks, including answering calls, responding to emails, and organising appointments.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Use Quickbooks to manage cashflow.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documents.

Fundraising Assistance:

  • Seek out new funders.
  • Assist in the creation of new projects.
  • Complete grant application forms
  • Engage with donors and supporters to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and pursue potential funding opportunities.
  • Liaise with counsellors, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in creating engaging content for social media and other communication channels.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in administrative roles.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using office software (Microsoft Office).
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with potential donors and sponsors.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling content for various platforms.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
